PADI IE in Khao Lak for December 2011 was successful
The IDC candidates for the Khao Lak IDC in conjunction with PADI 5* IDC Center Sea Dragon and the PADI IE went very well. All 6 candidates bonded well and the group was strong and we had lots of fun along the way. After the PADI IE all 6 candidates went on a 3 day/3 night live aboard and we had some great dives at Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, Koh Surin and Richelieu Rock. What better way to complete a PADI IDC and IE can you wish for?

PADI IDC on Koh Samui for November 2011 successful
Once more the PADI IE on Koh Samui, this time for November 2011, was very successful with all candidates of award winning Platinum PADI Course Director Camille Lemmens in conjunction with ‘The Dive Academy’ passing the exam with flying colors.

As usual with Camille’s PADI IDC programs, it was a very international affair with candidates originating from the UK, Chile, Australia and Japan and staff from the UK, France, Lebanon and Japan. Throw Camille’s Dutch heritage into the mix and it’s a very international group indeed. Just like the students that they will meet in their future instructor careers.

PADI IDC and IE for August 2011 on Koh Samui very successful
During the recent PADI IE on Koh Tao, held from 16-18th August 2011, all of award winning Platinum PADI Course Director Camille Lemmens‘ candidates from the August IDC on Koh Samui were successful in passing their exams and are now proud PADI Scuba Instructors.

Successful PADI IE on Koh Samui July 2011
All 5 candidates of Platinum PADI Course Director Camille Lemmens from the July IDC on Koh Samui participated in the PADI IE held from 15yh to 16th July on Koh Samui.

As always, it was an international IDC with candidates originating from the USA, Canada, the UK and New Zealand.

This last Sunday, 12th June 2011, award winning Platinum PADI Course Director Camille Lemmens completed a half marathon during the Laguna International Phuket Marathon event. It was his first half marathon in a race setting and he completed the race in 2 hours, 2 minutes and 25 seconds, a satisfactory time for him.

Since he was running for Ocean Protection as part of the newly designed Project Aware campaign, he had three Singaporean ladies run the half marathon with him. Mia, who’s pictured above, managed to raise 1.000,-USD. Hats off and many thanks to her!

It wasn’t an easy run but camille feels there’s room for improvement for a next run!
In this marathon, 5.000 participants ran in 5 categories, a marathon, a half marathon, 10.5km, a 5km walk and a 2 km children’s run. Participants came form 45 countries and Camille’s time made him 225th in the half marathon out of 565 runners.

Camille has already registered for a 12km run at midnight, 8th October on Bangkok’s Sukhumvit road. See you there!
