Black Tip Diving & Water Sports is an eco friendly resort located in quiet and relaxed Aow Tanote on the east side of the island. We are committed to quality, safety and fun.

We provide all PADI diving courses from beginner to instructor and dive tours. Courses are kept to a maximum of 4 students to 1 instructor and dive group are kept to a maximum of 5 divers. This not only helps to ensure diver enjoyment but safety as well.

Student Divers can also take advantage of Black Tip’s Gold package dive courses. Gold packages include extra training dives or sessions at discounted prices to help improve diver safety and and also to help divers understand how they can enjoy the underwater environment without damaging it.

All courses are taught at a relaxed pace. Courses typically take about 4 days, but for those needing more practice extra training sessions are provided.

As members of the “Green Fins” and “Save Koh Tao” organizations we conduct and participate in reef checks, corals checks, clean ups and whale shark and turtle identification projects. Customers are urged to join us on our projects!

We have bungalows to suit all budgets with hot water, optional A/C and 24 hour electricity. Our bungalows are made of natural materials such as teak wood, palm thatch and granite. During the building of the resort all trees and boulders were left in place and incorporated in the design to help avoid land erosion and to maintain the natural beauty.

We also have shark snorkeling trips, kayaking and wake boarding available.
