Our dive school and main office is centrally located in idyllic fisherman’s village, Bophut, which is situated at the most northern point of Koh Samui Island. Our school is ideally located at the closest point to the regions world famous dive sites, of Koh Phangan, Koh Tao and Anthong Marine National Park. We offer a full range of dive trips, tours and courses, with both PADI and SSI instruction and certification. Our courses include, Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, E.F.R. through to a range of professional qualifications including Divemaster.

We further enhance our customer service with two further dive offices, again centrally located at the two most popular Koh Samui beaches of Chaweng and Lamai. We have fully qualified diving staff available at these offices to assist with any facets of dive tours or training planning. All Bophut Dive School facilities have a full range of the world’s latest recreational and technical diving equipment, for either rent or sale.

NEW THIS SEASON! Additionally, we now also offer our own tailor made day diving and snorkelling trip to the Similan Islands or Koh Bon onboard our new cruising boat, the M/V Nam Sai.

Visit the world famous Similan Islands, described as one of the top ten dive destinations in the world, and see the amazing contrast of colourful coral reefs teeming with fish life often visited by whale sharks and manta rays, huge underwater boulders forming exciting gullies, canyons and swim-throughs, and pure white sand beaches lapped by the crystal clear waters of the Andaman Sea.

From our Khao Lak Dive Center we offer the full range of PADI dive courses, whether you want to further your dive education or try a dive for the first time, as well as four different day dive trips: our 2 local tin mining wrecks, our house reef or, if you are short on time, a one day diving and snorkelling trip to the Similan Islands.

And when you are not diving there are plenty of excursions to choose from, including elephant rides through the rainforest to visit one of our many waterfalls, trekking in Khao Sok National Park, or a boat trip through Phang Nga Bay with its unique limestone rock formations.

Day Trips

We make daily dive trips to Richelieu Rock, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and the Similan islands aboard our fast and quiet speedboats. Everything is included in our full- service trips. We’ll even pick you up right at your hotel.

Liveaboards

If you have the time, a liveaboard is the best way to see the Similans. 4 dives per day, frequent stops at deserted beaches, and more time to relax aboard our luxurious MV Pawara, where every cabin has a private ensuite.

Courses

We offer courses from Beginner to Professional. Come diving in the Similans with us for a day, even if you’ve never tried it before. Our highly trained staff all have years of experience looking after our customers and giving them the experience of a lifetime.

Our international scuba diving staff will teach you scuba diving according to european scuba dive standards, but in nice hot water with beautiful corals and fish !! We are the only Padi dive center that has their dive boats located on the most beautiful beach of Lanta, Pra Ae (or Longbeach) and we sail directly from here to Koh Ha and Phi Phi. Our swimming pool is the ocean straight in front of the dive resort. You will find great restaurants (Thai, European, cheap and more expensive) and small relax bars straight in front of the dive resort aswell. For some good parties, you will have to walk for about 5 till 10 minutes, but this is better, because then you can sleep in your bungalow and party when you feel like it.
