Whether you are just visiting Thailand for a holiday, business or living here full time, Gringos Cantina is the perfect spot to relax, enjoy some great food and drink some jugs of Gringos famous Frozen Margarita or Sangria. Located in Chaweng beach Gringos is easy to find opposite Pizza Hut just behind the Islander restaurant in central Chaweng (see map below). You will usually see two welcoming hostesses dressed in Sombreros and Ponchos on the main street ready to assist you to your table just a short 20 meter walk down the side soi. Gringos is open from 2pm until Midnight, and serves a menu that is a refreshing change from the everyday foods presented by many restaurants.
In addittion to excellent Mexican food and ambiance you can also relax in a beautiful Beer Garden & BBQ Bar - 'The Outback' adjoins with Gringos and offers excellent Barbecued Steaks, Ribs and Kebabs all washed down with a cold beer under the shade of tropcal foliage. Either menu - BBQ or Mexican can be enjoyed at either location so you can choose to sit under the foliage of The Outback Beer Garden and eat Mexican food or sit under cover in the Cantina. You can also enjoy a round of Crazy Golf, as an excellent 9 Hole Crazy Golf course backs on to the Outback Beer Garden. Enjoy an afternoon lazing with a cold drink in the Outback, play a round or two of Crazy Golf in the cool of the early evening and then finish with some excellent Mexican food and some Frozen Margaritas from Gringos. . .
